Walter T. Rogers of Bayonne passed away on Sunday October 5, 2014 at the age of 76. Born in Jersey City he had lived in Bayonne for 45 years. Walter was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a truck driver for New England Motor Freight of Elizabeth for several years prior to retiring over 10 years ago. Walter was also a co-owner of Campbells Taxi Cab Company in Bayonne for over 20 years. Mr. Rogers is survived by his sons, Walter M. Rogers & his wife Yesenia and Thomas F. Rogers & his fiancé Debby Jane Abarquez; a brother John Rogers; and 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Lucas Rogers. Visitation will be at the Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19thStreet, Bayonne on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Andrews Church, 125 Broadway, Bayonne.
