Stella C. (nee Gorska) De Santis passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the age of 93. She was born in Bayonne and was a lifetime resident. Stella was a Secretary for De Santis Trucking Company in Bayonne for 30 years prior to her retirement. Mrs. De Santis was predeceased by her husband Victor W. "Willie" DeSantis; siblings, Helen De Santis, Jean Pulaski, and Edward Gurski. She is survived by her children, William De Santis, Gene De Santis, Victor De Santis, Patricia Martin, Joseph De Santis and Clara De Santis. Also survived by 8 grandchilden, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren Visitation will be held at the Dzikowski, Pierce, & Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne, NJ on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Monday from the funeral home at 8:00 AM followed by the Funeral Liturgy at in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne, at 9:00 AM. Entombment will be at Holy Cross, Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
