Raymond Kiesnowski, "Ray", 71 of Bayonne, NJ passed peacefully on Saturday, September 30 at Lyons VA Medical Center.
He was born and raised in Bayonne and remained there for all his life.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1972 through 1975 in Germany. During that time he earned his qualification as a sharpshooter.
He worked various jobs in his life including working for the U.S. Postal service and State Films.
His favorite pastimes were listening to music, camping, fishing and riding 3 of the Harley Davidson motorcycles that he had owned. He also enjoyed watching true crime shows and mysteries.
He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Tessie (Gigiel) Kiesnowski of West 10th Street their loving family home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Jill (Ruskowski) and their son, Cole.
He is also survived by 3 brothers in law, Brian Ruskowski, Kenneth Ruskowski and Neal Ruskowski whom he loved as a brother.
He is survived by his sons and their wives as follows: Walter and Michele of Massachusetts, Jesse and Sonya of Florida and Lee and Anna of Pennsylvania and their mother Patti Lynn (Swallick).
He is survived by 4 grandchildren as well: Shauna, Tyler, Viktor and Max.
He is survived by 2 sisters and their husbands: Arlene and Paul Buklarewicz of Hawaii and Laura and Raymond Hyman and his many nieces and nephews.
He was greatly loved and will be
sorely missed by all.
