Patrick J. Egan a life long resident of Bayonne NJ. passed away on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at the age of 93. Patrick was predeceased by his beloved wife, of 45 years, Loretta and son Michael. He is survived by his loving family: Daughter: Christine Grandsons: Erik & his wife Ericka, Scott and Robert & his wife Colleen; Great Grandchildren: Emma, Justin, Caitie, Alex and Michael. Patrick served with the 1st Infantry Division U.S Army. He participated in the Normandy D-day invasion, and was wounded in combat receiving a Purple Heart. Patrick was employed of Western Electric in Kearny NJ for 40 years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and an Army Veteran of WWII. Visitation will be on Friday September 25th from 4 - 8 pm at the Dzikowski, Pierce, and Levis funeral home, 24 East19thStreet, Bayonne. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday September 26th at 10:00 am. The burial will follow in Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Avenue, Jersey City, N.J.
