Michael J. Clark, Jr. a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away on Friday, March 6th, 2015 at the age of 74. Michael worked for Western Electric in South Kearny, NJ and then Lucent Technologies in Allentown, PA, for 40 years before retiring in 2006. He is a U.S. Army Veteran who first served from 1961 to 1967 and then served from 1983 to 2000 for the U.S. Army Reserves. A very active member of the St. Michael's/St. Joseph's parish, he served as an Usher and volunteered at many parish functions. Mike enjoyed bowling for the Our Lady of Mercy League of Jersey City for many years. He was also a member of the Concerned Citizens of Bayonne. Michael and Beverly were foster parents to many children over of the years. Michael is predeceased by his father, Michael J. Clark Sr.; his mother, Mary Clark (nee Zenda) and his sister, Dorothy Bouton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Beverly (nee Lanskey) Clark; children, Michael J. Clark III and his fiancé Noel Lisa; Patrice Clark and her husband Danny Castellano; and nephew Arthur Lanskey Jr.; a sister, Ann Barker; grandchildren, Michael B. Clark, Danny Jr., Eric, and Kimberly Castellano; and dear friends Lisa Mcgonogly, Joseph Olesky, and Barbara Godfrey. Visitation will be at the Dzikowski, Pierce and Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 am from the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am in St. Michael/St. Joseph Church, 21 East 23rd Street, Bayonne. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery, West Side Avenue, Jersey City. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
