Michael Baran, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 06, 2024. He was a Fireman for the City of Bayonne. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Ruth (nee Zilka); his loving children Michael, Nancy Kordell, Donna Buono and Peter. His cherished grandchildren Lauren Kordell, Brian Kordell, Michael Baran, Brenna Baran and Megan Jankura. His great grandchildren Charles Cowart, Grace Cowart, Natalie Cowart, Emily Cowart, Samantha Russell, Maci Hammock, Eva Kordell, Isabella Kordell, Michael Baran, Mila Baran, Minka Baran, Stella Jankura and Olivia Jankura.
Friends may be received on Sunday, June 9th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the DZIKOWSKI, PIERCE & LEVIS Funeral Home, 24-32 E 19th Street, Bayonne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Church, 326 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ, Monday June 10th, 10 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
