Maureen E. Ervin (nee Lipnicki) of Bayonne passed away peacefully surrounded by her children after a short battle with cancer at the age of 85.

 

Maureen maintained her kindness, compassion and love of her family throughout her long life. Together with her husband, they raised 4 beautiful children who she loved tremendously. They find comfort in knowing her legacy will live on through the lessons she had taught them, the love they shared, and the memories that they will cherish forever.

 

Maureen was born in 1939 in Newark NJ to Frank & Estelle Lipnicki (nee Stachnik) and moved to Bayonne where she resided all her life. Maureen was a homemaker.

 

She was the devoted wife to the late Arthur A. Ervin. 

 

She was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Millen and her husband Randy, as well as her daughter Margaret DeQuarto.

 

She is survived by her beloved children, son Dennis Ervin and his wife Sharon, her daughter Kathy Plaskon and her husband Mike, as well as her son-in-law John DeQuarto.

 

Maureen also was the cherished Nana of 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be held at the DZIKOWSKI, PIERCE & LEVIS FUNERAL HOME, 24-32 E. 19th Street, Bayonne, NJ on Tuesday 3-7pm.

 

Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish (St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church) Wednesday 10am.

 

Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
