MaryAnn Ruiz Obituary

MaryAnn Ruiz is predeceased by her husband, Eddie Ruiz, daughter, Michele McGrath, her Grandson Joseph A. McGrath, Jr., Michele’s fiance’ August Elia, her son Christopher Kimbrell, daughter-in-law Ivana Kimbrell, Grand-daughters Isabella and Nicole, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her pup Miller and grand-pups Stella and Luna.
MaryAnn was one of 11 siblings, survived by two sisters, Carol Ann Ponik and Eleanor Cardone.
MaryAnn (a.k.a. Mema) loved being with her grandchildren and always expressed how extremely proud she was of each of them.  She made sure to be there for anyone who needed a helping hand, words of wisdom, or just someone to listen.  She shared her love unconditionally with those who meant the most.  MaryAnn especially loved her late pup “Lady” tremendously.  She enjoyed her Garden, shopping, playing cards and dice, sitting on the porch having her coffee, chatting with neighbors, and spending as much time as possible with her family.   She simply cherished reminiscing, laughing, and just being together.
MaryAnn loved her “Oldies” music, Jimmy Sturr and doing the Polka.  She could brighten up anyone’s day with her smile.  Keeping family traditions, cooking, decorating, and celebrating holidays meant the world to her.
MaryAnn was an amazingly strong, unique, and beautiful woman.  She was undoubtedly the most caring soul with the truest heart of gold.  She was a straight shooter, witty, honest, and so kind-hearted in every way.  MaryAnn was treasured by so many and will undeniably be missed each and every day by all those who knew and loved her dearly.
We are all so graciously blessed and thankful to have had MaryAnn in our lives.  We will cherish every memory and hold her close in our hearts eternally.  May she rest peacefully with our Lord Jesus Christ and almighty God, up above.  Amen.
