Margaret (nee Baran) Wielongowski of Lakewood, N.J. (formerly of Bayonne) passed away on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at the age of 82. She was born in Bayonne where she lived until moving to Lakewood 25 years ago. Margaret worked at Western Electric in Kearny for 32 years prior to her retirement 30 years ago. During her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to Atlantic City. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Alfred Wielongowski and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter Sharon Sheppard; a son James Wielongowski; brother Michael Baran and sister Evelyn Arlington; grandchildren, Melissa Roesinger & and her husband Al, Louis Politewicz, Annemarie, Adam and Alex Wielongowski; and great- grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sarah, and Jillian Roesinger. Visitation will be at the Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne.
