Margaret H. Oberwanowicz (nee Stofira), 90 passed away at the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge Township, on April 26, after a brief illness.

She had been a lifelong Bayonne resident. She was the loving wife of the late Alexander Oberwanowicz and the loving mother of the late Gary Oberwanowicz and the late Janice Mezzacappa. She is survived by her brother John Storfira and his wife the late Maureen Stofira. Also she is survived by her grandchildren, Hope Oberwanowicz-Kazdal and her husband Okan, and her brother Jacob Oberwanowicz. She is the former mother-in-law of Nancy Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the dearest friend of Claire M. Malecky and her husband, John. She enjoyed Bingo, card playing and going to Atlantic City with numerous clubs that she belonged to.

FVisitation at the Dzikowski, Pierce and Levis Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3rd from 8:30 AM 10-10:30 AM. Funeral mass at St. Vincent's R.C. Church at 11:00 AM.
