Loretta (nee Kochanski) Bonomo, a lifetime resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Monday October 27, 2014 at the age of 77. Loretta graduated from the Bayonne Hospital School of Practical Nursing in 1973. She then continued working for the next 18 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Bayonne Hospital, retiring in 1991. Loretta enjoyed fishing and crabbing at the Jersey Shore. Loretta was predeceased by her husband John Buonoma; brothers, William, Harold, Joseph and Robert Kochanski. She is survived by her children, John Bonomo, Paul Bonomo & his wife Erin and Dina Lupton & her husband Barry; grandchildren, Casey Wisniewski, Dane and Jillian Lupton, Kristen and Kaitlyn Bonomo. Visitation at Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24-32 East 19th Street, Bayonne, on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C.
