Leo Vincent Lane III, 65, of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on April 12, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.

Leo was born on March 5, 1960 in Hempstead, NY, the son of Leo V. Lane Il and Margaret Lane [Moran].

Leo married Marianne [Boyle] in 1986. Marianne and Leo were happily married for 38 years until his passing, and had two cherished children Kaitlyn and Joshua. Leo worked for the Maidenform Company and then the Bayonne Board of Education for many years until his retirement in 2022.

Leo especially loved living life to the fullest. He believed life was to be enjoyed and celebrated. He was kind and generous.

Remaining to cherish Leo's memory are his wife Marianne, his children Kaitlyn and son in law Ray Pona and Joshua and his fiancé Ashley Buchanan, his Barrett Sisters, their spouses and children, his closest friends, brothers and sisters in-law, and many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Preceding Leo in death are his parents Leo V. Lane II and Margaret Lane [Moran], his Mother And Father in-law Patrick and Anne Boyle; his adoptive parents Eddie and Lillian Barrett, his Aunt Ginny and Uncle Joe Clay, Sister in law Ellen Marie Boyle.

Per Leo's request, there were no services held and no viewings. His last request was to ask those closest to him to go to their favorite watering hole and raise a drink to his memory.
