Joseph M. Allen, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at the age of 59. He worked for the Texaco Company in Bayonne as a clerk. He was a lover of sports, and had played softball for many years. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Peter & Grace (nee Sharkey) Allen; and his sister, Mary Anne. He is survived by his brother, Thomas Allen, Peter Allen and John Allen & His wife Lisa and their children, Sean, David and Kylah. Visitation will occur at the Dzikowski, Pierce and Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne, on Friday, June 16th from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral prayer services will occur on Saturday, June 17th in the funeral home at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
