John L Wegrzynski, a life long resident of Bayonne passed away on Thursday April 9, 2015 at the age of 80. He worked in information technology / data processing for most of his career, retiring as vice president from Unisys. John was a 1957 graduate of Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT where he had many found memories of playing basketball for the college. John was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War. John was predeceased by his wife, Janice M. (nee Mackiewicz) Wegrzynski. He is survived by a son John L. Wegrzynski; a daughter Joy Millette and her husband Michael; and grandchildren Jessica and Sarah Wegrzynski, Henry, Sophie, George, Claire and Lillian Millette. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.
