Jean M. (nee Roszkowski) Ohalek of Kunkletown, PA, formerly of Bayonne, passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2013 at the age of 93. Born in Bayonne she had lived there for most of her life before moving to Kenkletown, PA 34 years ago. She was a sewing machine operator for Maidenform in Bayonne for over 25 years before retiring. Jean was a member of the Polk Township Senior Citizens Club, the Polish Womans Alliance, and the Rosary Society of Queen of Peace Church in Broadheadsville, PA She also knitted hats for premature babies. Mrs. Ohalek was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Ohalek; parents Chester and Mary Roszkowski; brothers Chester, Walter, Henry, Anthony Roszkowski and the late Mildred Walewski. She is survived by her daughter Maryann Stabile and her husband Jeffrey Sr; grandchildren, Jeffrey Stabile Jr. and Joelle Rehberg; 5 great-grandchildren, Victoria, Ryan, Catherine, Anna and Joseph. Relatives and friends may call at the Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24-32 East 19th Street, Bayonne, on Sunday from 2 - 6 pm. Funeral on Monday from the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C.
