Irene B. Budka Obituary

Irene B. Budka of Bayonne passed away on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at the age of 89. She was born in Bayonne, a 1943 graduate of Bayonne High School, and a lifetime resident. She retired as a Bank Officer from the 45th Street branch of Bank of America in Bayonne in 1987 after 44 years of service. Irene is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Eva (nee Leszczynska) Budka, sisters Eleanor Slawinski and Genevieve Zasacky, brothers Alfred, Thaddeus and Henry Budka. She is survived by her sister Sylvia Monahan and brother-in-law Henry Zasacky. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24-32 East 19th Street, Bayonne, on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne at 12:00 noon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
