Helen Manning Obituary

Helen Manning (nee Podskalny) of Bayonne passed away peacefully at Bayonne Medical Center with her family at her side on March 30, 2023. She was 88, born in Bayonne on December 31, 1934. She leaves behind her daughter, Laura Marsella (nee Frank), her shining light and grandson, Michael DePinto and Cosimo DePinto (Fatime) as well as her niece Janet Krsulic (Roco) and nephew Alex Sypniewski, grand- niece and grand-nephew Valerie Cullari and Mathew Krsulic as well as several great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Walter Podskalny (aka Parker) and Sophie Podskalny as well as her beloved sister Dorothy Sypniewski, and brothers Lou Jablonka, Rom Czyzewski, Chet Jablonka, and Richard Podskalny. She was a graduate of Staten Island College and was a retired Registered Nurse from Jersey City Medical Center dialysis unit. She adored her profession and loved her colleagues and patients as family. Helen had a one-of-a-kind personality and generosity of love that will leave an indelible mark on those that knew her.
 

Visitation will be held, Tuesday, April 4th at Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.

Private cremation to follow.
