Frances (nee Kazmersky) Edmonds of Spring Hill, FL (formerly of Bayonne) passed away on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at the age of 95. She was born in Bayonne where she had lived before moving to Spring Hill, FL 2 years ago. As a young adult Frances spent 5 years as a Cloistered Nun in Morristown with her sister Clare. Frances then worked as a machine operator for Maidenform in Bayonne for a short time. During WWII Frances left Maidenform and went to work as a "Rosie the Riveter" building airplanes at Eastern Aircraft Company in Linden. The "Wildcat" airplanes were one of many built at the Linden plant. Mrs. Edmonds was predeceased by her husband John Edmonds; siblings, John, Edward and Stanley Kazmersky, Evelyn Brown Peadbody and Sister Sophia Clare Kazmersky (Carmelite order of the Sisters of Mary the Good Sheppard). She is survived by her children, Frances Kiel, Dolores Sullivan & her husband Leonard, Theresa Edmonds, Patricia Doucette and Claire Edmonds. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Dzikowski, Pierce, & Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne, NJ on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday from the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy in Saint Andrew's Church, 125 Broadway, Bayonne, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Holy Cross, Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
