Frances J. Corvo of Matawan (formerly of Bayonne) passed away on Saturday August 8, 2015 at the age of 74. Frances was born in Hartford, CT and had lived in Bayonne for 25 years prior to moving to Matawan 5 years ago. She attended dental assistant school at UMDMJ in Newark and went on to be a dental assistant in the Bayonne area for many years prior to her retirement. Frances loved animals, especially cats. Francis is survived by her beloved companion of 24 years, Leon C. Supel; brothers, Louis, Joseph and Perry Corvo and a sister, Josephine Curtis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Tuesday from7 - 9 pm at the Dzikowski, Pierce, and Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19thStreet, Bayonne. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 39 East 22ndSt. Bayonne. Interment to follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 986 S.
