Evelyn M. (nee Lajeski) Zielenski, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, N.J. passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the age of 95. Visitation will be held at the Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19th Street, Bayonne, on Monday, December 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, December 29th at 9:00 a.m. follow by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church, 326 Avenue C, Bayonne. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, 220 Mount Olivet Road, Newark. In her earlier years Evelyn was a secretary for the F. W. Woolworth Company in New York City. Evelyn was an active parishioner in Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church. She also enjoyed shopping and traveling. Evelyn was the wife of 50 years to the late Walter J. Zielenski who passed away in 2009. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Irene Lajeski and Doris Sambora. Evelyn is survived by her sons, John W. Zielenski and Michael T. Zielenski: and a granddaughter Nicolle Zielenski.
