Edward W. Hajduk of Bayonne passed away on Saturday July 13, 2013 at the age of 79. He was born in Bayonne and was a lifetime resident. Mr. Hajduk was a weigh master with I.M.T.T. in Bayonne for 10 years before retiring 11 years ago. Prior to that he worked for Hunt Wesson Foods in Bayonne for over 25 years. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Anna (nee Jakubik) Hajduk, 3 siblings, Richard Hajduk, Barbara Lojewski, Lottie Korbelak, and a son-in-law Allen Lipsitz. He is survived by his former spouse Geraldine (nee Stanek) Hajduk; daughter Marie Lipsitz, son Edward Hajduk, Jr, and daughter-in-law Katherine (nee Brown) Hajduk, sister Leona Pasternak and brother Thomas Hajduk. He is also survived by his grandchildren Dylan Lipsitz, Zane Lipsitz and Olivia Hajduk. Visitation at the Dzikowski, Pierce and Levis Funeral Home 24-32 East 19th Street, Bayonne, NJ on Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm concluding with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday at 9:00 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne, Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
