Mr. Dean W. Smith of Bayonne passed away on Monday August 19, 2013 at the age of 61. He was born in Bayonne and was a lifetime resident Dean was a warehouse manager for VanBrunt Inc. in Elizabeth for 4 years prior to retirement 8 years ago. Prior to that he was a warehouse manager with Gist - Brocades Company in King of Prussa, PA for 15 years. He was Army Veteran stationed in Korea during the Viet Nam war. Mr. Smith was the beloved husband for 38 years to Patricia L. (nee Skinner) Smith. Beloved father of Melissa and Kimberly Smith. Dear brother of Linda Vargas and her late husband Mario, Cheryl Clavelli and her husband Gino, Denise Pona and her husband Anthony, Charles Smith, the late Wayne Smith and the late Daryl Smith. Brother-in-law of Diane Miller. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
