Christopher W. Kreutter of Bayonne, NJ passed away on Monday June 22, 2015 at the age of 80. He was born in Jersey City and had lived in Bayonne for 55 years. Christopher was a railroad bridge operator for Transit of New Jersey (formerly Erie Railroad) for over 45 years prior to his retirement 18 years ago. Mr. Kreutter was a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family; was a model railroad enthusiast; and spent time building model trains and ships. Christopher was the beloved husband for many happy years to Patricia (nee Eglentowicz) Kreutter; father of Karen Kreutter Pintauro & her husband Mark and the late Christopher M. Kreutter; brother of the late Dorothy Szpila and the late Viola Codey; grandfather of Ashley, Jonathan, Gabrielle and the late Alexandra Pintauro. Also survived by many loved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday June 25that the Dzikowski, Pierce & Levis Funeral Home, 24 East 19thStreet, Bayonne from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home during the evening visitation at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.
