Allegra Marano Obituary

Allegra Buccianti Marano (nee Blattner) of Bayonne NJ passed away on January 4, 2022 at Peace Care StAnn’s, Jersey City NJ. She was 93.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, she came to the United States with her husband and children in 1965.

A Senior Human Resources Director with the United Nations Development Program for 45 years, Allegra held various roles including overseeing administrative staff in Africa. Upon retirement she was retained as a consultant.

Allegra was a vivacious social and caring individual who enjoyed life to its fullest despite her recent illness.

She was predeceased by her parents, Elwyn & Marie Blattner, husbands Rolando Buccianti and Salvatore Marano.

Surviving are her children Silvana (Vincent), Roberto (Carmen) and Rudy. Six Grandchildren Jonathan (Jennifer), Dena (Cori), Daniel (Christopher), Gina, Marissa and Paolo. Four great grand children

Dylan, Julia, Roland and Graham. Her siblings James (Esther) and Renee (Albert).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2-6 PM, funeral Monday, January 10 ,2022.
